"Blizzardshard speaks" | 'Blizzardshard thinks'
If Shiningheart ever found out he went here without her, she'd beat him up leader or no. Or would mate or no be more accurate? Maybe they canceled each other out. Either way, she'd beat him up. Apprentices weren't allowed near this part of the river for a reason. The snakes around these parts loved to sun themselves on hot days. Days like these, as a matter of fact! It was a dangerous thing to do, quite risky in fact.
Then again, the danger and the risk is part of the fun! Blizzardstar slithered along the ground, much like a snake himself, eyes darting about to look for the slimy little jerk-faces. They weren't actually slimy, in reality, but it's the insult that matters! The leader of ThunderClan felt his heart pound in excitement, the adrenaline rush sending his senses on high alert. If there was anything to be found, he would find it.

Having free time to himself was becoming tired some. He wanted to learn something, wanted to know what it was like to fight others in battle. But it had been moons since he had become an apprentice and with no training. Shaking his head, Stormpaw did the best thing he could do. watch other apprentices and learn from there...for now at least. Stormpaw had been sitting in a corner of the Thunderclan camp since he had waken up. He had helped most of the apprentice with their chores then the rest of the day, the black apprentice did nothing.
But then he notice his leader walking out of the camp. Out of curiosity, the young tom followed his leader, being silent and stealthy. Hiding in the shadows so his leader wouldn't see him, but the more he followed Blizzardstar, the more he realized that they were going into the forbidden part of Thunderclan. Stormpaw knew that he wasn't allowed to be here, but that didn't mean Blizzardstar should be left alone. Still following the leader, Stormpaw crept low to the ground, his body barely above the ground as he stalked Blizzardstar. It wasn't until the leader moved that the apprentice noticed an adder coming towards them. Out of instinct, Stormpaw attacked it, only trying to protect his leader from it. He killed it instantly, but knew he would be caught by Blizzardstar now.

| 'Blizzardshard thinks' Maybe he was just being paranoid, but he could swear that he was being followed. Blizzardstar smiled brightly at the thought. Maybe it was a fox! He could do with a fight. Peace with the other Clans is all well and good, but Blizzardstar occasionally needed some kind of fight to loosen his muscles and lose the tension! He looked for a hiding spot, a nice big gray boulder he could launch an ambush from. For some reason, he imagined there was background music going to it. Nice, intense kind of music that filled the listener with suspense. Without realizing it, Blizzardstar started to hum along with his mental orchestra and, finding a decent enough boulder to launch his plan, leaped atop it. At least, he would have had he not heard a sudden rustle behind him. Blizzardstar yelped loud enough to echo, and he spun around to see the apprentice, Stormpaw, with a dead adder at his paws. "Stormpaw!" the leader squeaked. "I was just... Um... I... Er..." He looked around for an excuse to be out here, then seemed to realize what he was doing. "Wait a minute, I'm the leader! You're supposed to be stammering excuses to me!"He narrowed his amber eyes at Stormpaw, trying to look stern that the apprentice was on territory forbidden to him. "So, Stormpaw, care to explain to me just what you were doing here? In an area you, and the other apprentices, are explicitly told not to go?"[/ul][/sup][bg=D4CFD1][atrb=border,0,true]

[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Stormpaw looked up to his leader, and felt embarrassed for not letting Blizzardstar know he was following him. At first, the black apprentice didn't understand why the leader started to stammer until he realized that he had probably scared Blizzardstar. He went to speak to him, but was to late, his leader had now snapped at him. Stormpaw moved back and put his ears down, feeling embarrassed.
"I was following you, Blizzardstar. I had nothing to do and when I ended up following I got curious onto why you were coming here." he meowed, speaking the truth. Then his amber eyes went to the adder. He had killed the adder because it was going towards his leader. "sorry, Blizzardstar, I only got out of the shadows because this adder was coming towards you and I couldn't let it attack you." he meowed, looking at his shufflingly paws.

"Blizzardstar speaks" | 'Blizzardstar thinks'
Blizzardstar started to feel bad for snapping at the younger tom when he started to move back. He hadn't scared him, had he? He sometimes forgot just how intimidating he really was, even sometimes to his own Clanmates. When Stormpaw spoke up and said he'd been following him, he hesitated in answering.
When he did speak, it was slowly, like he was trying to find the words to what he wanted to say. "So... You followed your leader... without being told to... into dangerous territory... because you were bored..." And the sad part? Blizzardstar really couldn't get mad at him. It was something he would have done when he was an apprentice.

Stormpaw nodded. Yes, it was true, he had followed him out of complete boredom and without permission. How could you blame the tom though? With no mentor assigned to give him orders, he had to train mainly on his own, and that was a lot. "I didn't mean to follow you all the way here. I had planned to go back to camp, or go hunting, but then...curiosity got the best of me.." he mumbled, looking at his paws.
The black tom felt embarrassed that he had followed Blizzardstar. He sat down, shuffling his paws on the ground. He didn't mean to get in trouble, but then again, that's what he had been doing all long. "I'm sorry Blizzardstar."

"Blizzardstar speaks" | 'Blizzardstar thinks'
A low sound started in Blizzardstar's belly. It moved up into his chest to rumble, and then the ThunderClan leader threw his head back and laughed. It boomed in the air around him, and Blizzardstar gave the apprentice a crooked grin. "Don't worry your little head about it, Stormpaw. Curiosity gets even the best of us at times."
He flicked Stormpaw's ear with his tail and wandered away a little. Over his shoulder, he called, "Come on then, Stormpaw! If you're gonna stick around, it's better to stay together."

When he heard his leader start to laugh, Stormpaw felt even more embarrassed. He didn't know what he had done to make his leader laugh at him, but he wasn't sure he wanted to know anyways. Slowly, the apprentice nodded at Blizzardstar. It was true, curiosity did get the best of anyone, not just him.
When his leader had came over to him and flicked his ear, Stormpaw's black ear twitched. He listened to his leader. At first, he stayed where he was when Blizzardstar wandered off but when the leader called over his shoulder to him, Stormpaw bounded off towards him. "True, don't need any adders getting a hold of a cat." he meowed, chuckling a bit as he walked with his leader.
