In the camp clearing laid a brown tabby she-cat, bored out of her mind. The dens have been cleaned, the fresh-kill pile was full thanks to the new-leaf, and the patrol was already sent out. It was rare for a warrior to be able to bask in the new-leaf sun and enjoy the warmth for long, but this was exactly what had happened.
And this is exactly why this she-cat named Hawkfire was bored.
She happened to be laying down in a sunny spot, resting and warming her pelt. Quickly she rolled onto her back and tried to relax, letting the sun hit her white belly, yet nothing. With a grumble, she rolled over a few seconds later. Then again. She just couldn't stay still.
"What is a warrior to do around here?!" the young she-cat exclaimed to no one in particular. "There's nothing to do. I just hate sitting here doing nothing!"
Looking over. she scanned the cats who happened to be around the cat, trying to find someone who would be interesting to play with. Even as a full-grown cat, she loved to behave like an energetic kit. And if she didn't find something to do, oh would she cause trouble like one!

A silver she-cat padded through the camp with a bundle full of borage and chamomile. The herb-like stench seemed to be permanently surrounding her. Hurridly she trotted past the nursery and the warriors den, about to come onto the rocks leading to her own when..
THUD. The medical supplies flew up in the air while Ivytail herself slid and fell over Hawkfire. In a daze the feline barely saw her fellow clan-mate blocking her way. She picked herself up and shook off the dirt that stuck to her pelt. Oh hello Hawkfire, Ivytail mewed while gathering the bruised leaves around her. Pretty nice day out, why aren't you out on a patrol, the she-cat asked curiously. Usually Hawkfire seemed to be up for anything, and loved to be all over the place. It was a rare sight to see her relaxing like this.

"Oh, Ivytail!" Hawkfire got up quickly, watching as the Thunderclan medicine cat gathered the rest of the leaves. With a flick of her tail, she narrowed her eyes out of boredom. "I guess it is a wonderful day," she replied to the she-cat's question, "but the patrols are already out. The fresh-kill pile is already stocked full, and the dens are already cleaned."
With a sigh, Hawkfire sat down and licked her white paw, starting to wash her face as she continued what she was saying. "I already groomed twice- sorry, three times now, and I already played with the kits. I think I got them tired enough to go to sleep. Oh, if only I could do that to myself!" Hawkfire laughed, stopping her grooming. and paused, waiting for the medicine cat to continue.
"Yeah," she sighed. "I know the other warriors say I act like a kit, but I can't help being as restless as I am. Besides, I hate being bored. I am soooo tempted to cause trouble right now, but I know that wouldn't be right. Ugh. What do I do, Ivytail?"

She blinked her large green eyes thoughtfully. Finally an idea sparked into her mind. Hey, Hawkfire why don't you take the apprentices out for a mini-patrol? I'm sure they're just as restless..
A sudden wave of good memories and nostalgia hit Ivytail. The she-cat twitched her tail and reembered all the great- and bad times she had at that age. The curiousness, the desire to please the older cats..
I miss being that young. I feel like everything was just so much more amusing. I get bored too around here, I fell your pain. You can only organize the herbs so many times.. If only one of the apprentices would be interested in becoming a medicine cat. This batch of them are just like you; rowdy and hyper! Ivytail joked around, but with a sigh released the herbs on the rock and layed down next to her clan-mate to absorb the sun shooting down.
She just knew that she'd have her own apprentice someday, but till that day the she-cat was just thinking of new ways teach.

"Hm..." Hawkfire thought of the idea on leading a patrol of apprentices. Would it be fun? I mean, she was bored, but would it be entertaining? "Nah," she said out loud to the she-cat. "I know it would be good getting out and all, but I dunno if I want that much energy around me."
She listened to Ivytail tell her sad tale and wistful tale of wanting a companion. She nodded in agreement when Ivytail mentioned that there would be an apprentice soon. In the meantine, buth of the cats would have to think so something to do that wouldn't bore them to death.
"Oh, I know!" Hawkfire cheered out. "If you aren't busy with herbs, maybe we can make on of those continuing stories! You know, you start telling a story, then when you don't want to continue, you say 'pass' and I pick up the story from there! How about that?"

Yeah, It would probably be hard just to handle one of them, let alone 3 or 4. She smiled softly and stretched out farther along the rock. Kids will be kids I guess. She mewed, and the silver striped feline listened to Hawkfire's new idea for entertainment.
Hm... A story game? Well, doesn't that sound rather silly.. Don't you think? Ivytail replied, never hearing of that idea. Maybe you could start then, I dont think I've ever played this game before. The she-cat turned to face Hawkfire. This could be pretty interesting with her wild imagination, she giggled to herself.
((sorry for the short post, I'm legit running out the door for school, just thought I'd jump in real quick!))

"Maybe you could start then, I don't think I've ever played this game before."
"Alrighty!" Hawkfire cheered, laying down on her stomach and getting comfortable. Her legs stretched out in both directions, leaving her sprawled on the ground. With a hum she thought for a short moment before going "ah!" with an idea.
"Alright, this is how it starts," Hawkfire started, the gears in her mind turning quickly. "It was a very sunny morning in new-leaf, heading towards greenleaf. A young twoleg was out, running to the river and jumping into the refreshing, cold water. You know, like those crazy twolegs do. I never knew why they did it.
"Anyway, that was when an adder came swimming over, hissing and everything. It was about to launch itself at the twoleg kit, but it's back end was caught by some underwater plant. It wiggled and tried to free itself, but the plant kept dragging it down.
"So the twoleg kit, seeing the adder, yelled and tried to wiggle away, but couldn't help but see how the snake was drowning. Without a second thought he grabbed the adder with its weird paw-thing and freed the adder. It glared at him, but didn't bite him as it first intended to. The snake swam to land, with the twoleg kit following, and it spoke to the kit.
"'I was going to eat you,' it hissed at him. 'but because you saved my life, I shall give you the greatest honor of them all. You shall become a cat!'
And.... pass!" Hawkfire cheered, looking at Ivytail to see what kind of story she would create from this mythical tale she made up.

And... pass!
Ivytail stared at Hawkfire like she had three heads. Awkwardly, the she-cat continuned the tall tale. Uhh.. Then the two-leg kit said, "A cat? Don't you think that's a bit degrading, after all us TWO-LEGS are just SO superior.. She snickered, exaggerating what was obviously un-true.
"Silence!"The snake said angered. "Being a cat is a gift that can never be beaten! You ungrateful fool!" The snake then proceeded to transform the two-leg kit into a rat. The two-leg kit begged for mercy but the snake wouldn't listen.
"If you do not want to be a cat, maybe you'll enjoy being eaten by one!" Without another word, he slivered away.. Ivytail playfully batted Hawkfire's head. Take it away!
This is actually pretty fun! [/blockquote]

Hawkfire snickered at her friend as she started the tale struggling at first, but soon grew into the rhythm. She laughed as she was batted on the head by the medicine cat, and she soon returned with a bat of her own. Without a second of thought, the tabby she-cat continued.
"'What happened?!' the twoleg kit, now a rat, squeaked in horror. He ran as fast as his little tiny legs could carry him to catch up with the snake. He tripped over rocks, and his own feet, and eventually made it to the adder's lair."
"'I told you,' it hissed, 'to go away.'
'I don't want to be a rat! I take it back! Cats are nice creatures! I like cats better than rats!' the twoleg kit continued to cry for mercy.
'Hm...' the snake slithered out of the hole and slithered upwards, appearing very large and scary. It's fangs were easily seen. 'If you want to be a cat so bad, prove it. If you can get a cat to give you some of its fur, then you may be given the great honor of being a feline.'
'BUT! If you fail this one simple task,' the snake slithered around the rat's little body, 'I'll turn you into nothing more than a lowly beetle, destined to move dung for the rest of your years.'"
Hawkfire smiled, opening her mouth as if she was going to add more to the story, before poking her friend with her tail. "Pass!"

((OH MY GOD DONT MURDER ME AHH! i havent been on in a week i feel so terrible dont murder me i was at graduation parties okay replying now D:))
Ivytail giggled at the story now. "But, cat's wouldn't just let a rat near them.. They would skin me alive you ruthless old snake!" The now rat-kit snarled and challenged the snakes motives.
"Do you think this is funny? How will I ever get fur from a cat!" Now in dispair and anger the rat began to scurry off in search of a camp. On his way through the forest the rat encountered a badger checking the tree bark for grubs and other insects for a meal. Trying to be careful the naive rat trotted on, but accidently stepped on a leaf and the badger whipped around to see what made the noise.
'Don't kill me! I need your help! The rat inquired very fearfully. The badger padded over to the rat. "What with little one?" It growled at the kit.
Ivytail then looked at Hawkfire implying it was her turn to continue the tall tale. [/size]

Hawkfire thought for a moment, wondering where this story could possibly go. Her eyes lit up when she finally had an idea.
"'I-I-I need your help,' the rat gulped 'getting some cat f-fur.'
The badger examined the rat kit closely, it's head close to the rats. 'Why should help rat? Badger don't like rat. They stink.'
'Because, I will get the snake to give you anything you want' the rat declared. Now, he didn't care if snake could or not, but it was his only chance at getting that cat fur!
'Hm. Okay. Help rat get fur. But rat must get honey for badger'
Pass!" Hawkfire smiled.
OOC: Sorry, I couldn't think of anything. Good luck!
