Moonpaw nodded and imediately took off into Riverclan territory, trying to find some cobwebs. In the meantime, Mossypaw stood next to her leader and mentor, worry reflecting in her mossy green eyes. "Sunstar?" the brown apprentice started. "Who was that tom? And why aren't we going back to camp? Shouldn't they know that such a dangerous cat is going around the clans? I mean, they should if he's going after she-cats..."
Mossypaw waited for her golden leader's response, not a single second relieving her of her worry. Were the wounds so bad that she was going to lose a second life? A third?
It wasn't long until Moonpaw came back with cobwebs. He started helping putting them on, grumbling. "Well, he's gone. But I don't get it. He doesn't smell like a clan cat, but he doesn't smell kittypet or loner or even rogue! And with the way he fights..."
Mossypaw finished for him. "How can a cat live without honor? Without a code?"

Sunstar continued to lick her wounds slowly, until they had stopped bleeding, well most of them did. "Mossypaw, his name is Phantom. I've only met one tom like that before, wished to never see one again." she mumbled, then looked over to Moonpaw as he brought back the cobwebs. "The clan will be aware of him. I plan to announce it my clan as well as the others at the next Gathering. If he can hurt a leader enough to take a life from her, the others need to be warned." she hissed as she felt Moonpaw put a cobweb up to wound.
She wanted to move away from the pain, wanted it all to stop and disappear. "It's time you two learned about the Shrieks. I believe Phantom is one of them, and the surround our borders. They do not fight for honor, but for power and greed. Much like Tigerstar had before." she said, wincing again. Her ears went back as she looked at the silver apprentice, but her eyes were soft. He was only wanting to help her with her wounds so she shouldn't put her anger out on him.

"It's time you two learned about the Shrieks. I believe Phantom is one of them, and they surround our borders. They do not fight for honor, but for power and greed. Much like Tigerstar had before."
"The Shrieks?" Both apprentices asked at the same time, curious. They listened to the story of these cats. A group of cats, almost like a clan, made up of evil cats like Tigerstar from the ancient stories? Mossypaw shivered. "But why would they want to fight the clans?" she asked innocently.
Moonpaw had finished up applying the cobwebs as best he could, seeing how he wasn't a medicine cat or an apprentice of one. He sat next to his sister, grooming her pelt. "Some cats are like that," he mumbled to her. "I really wish I knew why, but some cats are like that."

Sunstar nodded at the apprentice. "Yes they are known by that name, but I'm not sure on how many cats know of them. My mother told me of them before I became a warrior, just as a warning. Never thought I'd meet two in my life time, much less as a leader of the clan." she meowed, turning to face them. The leader nodded to Moonpaw in thanks for his help with the cobwebs, then turned her attention to Mossypaw. "No, Mossypaw, I never said that they wanted to fight the clans, but they just seek power well most of them do. They surround the clans, but I am not sure any of them have attacked us before. Phantom must not follow by their rules, unless he is making his own rules up as he goes along. Otherwise, watch out for him both of you."
Sunstar got up, but slowly, she could feel the pain in each movement and as she took a step she stopped and winced. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to walk...for now. But she couldn't stay away from the camp for much longer, not when it was almost night. "Soon we will have to head back to camp, but for now why don't you two have fun in the water. You deserve it at least for helping me get rid of him. Both of you." she said dipping her head in respect to the apprentices.

Both of the apprentices nodded, heading into the water. They didn't do much at first, still concerned for their golden leader, but after a while they calmed down. Mossypaw was the first, splashing water on her brother, who in turn pounced on her. They took turns play-fighting, using the water and moves they had learned from their mentors to their advantage.
It wasn't long until the sun was low in the sky, and was casting golds, pinks, and reds into the air. Slowly the two cats got out, reluctant to go back to camp, and started to groom themselves and each other dry. Moonpaw looked at Sunstar. "Are you ready to go back yet?" he asked.

Sunstar watched the two apprentices go into the water and started to splash each other. She sighed and curled up underneath a tree. Her wounds were out of her mind, for now, and her eyes closed slightly. She was tired from her battle but her mind was beginning to show images of a cat in her mind. Of course, her first thought was Moonpaw, but then she saw it was Phantom and immediately got up with a start. She looked over to Moonpaw, had she fallen asleep? Slowly, she nodded, "Yes, we need to get back. Tomorrow I will have to warn the clan of Phantom." she meowed softly.
She started to walk slowly, letting herself to lean against Moonpaw slightly, but not enough to over power him. The leader wanted to speak to Moonpaw about her question but something was telling her to keep her mouth shut. So, following her gut she did, and kept her eyes on the ground as she walked.

OOC: I am so, so sorry for not replying earlier! My life has been hectic and hasn't calmed down until now. I am sooooo sorry for leaving this thread hanging for so long! Forgive me?
IC: Moonpaw did his best to support the weight of his golden leader, which lessened a bit when Mossypaw decided to help support Sunstar from the other side. It was a slow journey, due to the injuries, but they had made it back to camp eventually. It was a quiet journey, very little words spoken along the way.
Mossypaw, despite herself, yet out a large yawn once home was in sight. "I hate to abandon you, but I need to get some sleep," she spoke, her words slurred by another yawn. Without much thought, she headed into the apprentice's den, leaving her silver brother with Sunstar.

OOC: it's alright namo. I'm not mad lol
IC:
Suntan was thankful for the two apprentices help her back to camp, but even though she was thankful, she stayed quiet. Once they got back to the camp and her own apprentice yawned. The golden leader nodded to Mossypaw and then turned her attention to Moonpaw. "Moonpaw, you should get some sleep as well. Tomorrow I will have the meeting to tell my clan and I want you and your sister to be there when I do." she meowed, before she darted to limp towards her den. Sunstar didn't want to go to her medicine cat but she would before the meeting. Even though she was in pain, the golden she-cat was stubborn.
